If ye think that today be like yesterday, where I be waking up to a warm mouth sucking upon my cock, then ye be mistaken.
I say this because forget waking up in my chambers, on my ship, or even in C’ula. Hell, forget even waking up in the salty waves of the shores. From where I stood, there was not a living soul for miles. There was also no pond, puddle, or drop of water for double whatever miles that the previous be.
All in front of me…was an endless stream of hot desert sand. Any sign of my ship, my crew, or even human civilization be none existent. The sun laid its harsh gaze down upon me as trails of wind sprinkled dust and sand into my eyes. It was mighty irritating.
Over the next few minutes, I thought about what had caused me to appear here. I contemplated that this be a dream, but it seemed much too real for such a thing. After all, it be a bad day for me if I be in a desert and no beautiful Dune Xals comes to greet me.
I thought that possibly Liara might have teleported me here, but that idea did not hold too much weight. The words might bite my ass later, but I hold confidence that of the people on my ship, only Liara and I hold the means for moving people from one spot to the next. Even then, for me, that didn’t amount to much since teleportation magic was not within my mind from what my Ilzahold had given me.
I dare not think that Liara would betray me, but I can’t say that I have absolute proof that she wouldn’t either. As much as it would leave a bad taste in my mouth, I would not hesitate in cutting her down if I find that to be the case. Though, I’d rather not. Even for me, it would take great effort in defeating a woman like Liara. There is a reason she had lived for so long.
Anyway, I figured I had plagued my mind with enough thoughts of betrayal. There be no need to jump to such a baseless assumption. If it turned out to be that way then I would deal with it. For now, I would have to find out where I was.
I knelt down and grabbed a fist full of sand. It was so hot that I thought it burned my hand. I opened my palm and the winds carried the grains of dirt away. As I watch this happen, I am also reminded of something else.
…I be fully clothed in my captain’s gear. I’m sure I did not have this on when I went to bed with Ellen last night.
I was surprised at my own self-control in the fact that I did not utter every obscene word that could come from my lips. Instead, I exhaled tiredly and started walking in the direction I found the most interesting.
…Starboard, if ye wish to nitpick.
I walked.
And walked.
And walked.
And walked.
How long I walked, I was not sure. It could have been a few minutes, hours, days, or even weeks. There be no jest in my voice. I be unsure of how long I walked. All I knew was that I was very tired. Some time must have passed because I had been rather earnest at the start of my journey. Now, I felt like the sands were trying to suck away the skin from my bones.
I had looked back many a time, but all I saw was more sand.
Sand.
Sand.
More Sand.
An empire of sand and wind laid behind me and in front of me. I had not met a single soul during this little pilgrimage of mine. I had also not met or seen hide nor slither of any animal. I have seen no scorpions, no snakes, and no shakvars, sand sharks for ye lubbers.
My only companions be the sun, the wind, and the hot dirt beneath my feet. Each of them strike me relentlessly. I tried to pull any water I could out of the air for my thirst, but I could not. I do not think this to mean that there wasn’t water to take but rather…my powers had forsaken me once again. No matter how hard I tried, I could not bend the waters in the air to my whim and I could not find any oasis or springs of water beneath so much desert.
Still, I kept walking. I be unsure what made me do this. Perhaps it be the thought that there be nothing for me should I wait. Perhaps it be the hope to find someone to aid me. Perhaps, I had just gone insane. Well, more insane than my mother and Ellen liked to claim that I be.
I don’t count my steps anymore. I don’t even look down to see if I’m leaving footprints. Given the wind, I’m sure the path I’ve tread so far be covered by more sand anyway. I took off my captain’s coat and pulled it over my head. I breathe a sigh of relief as I have some shade for my weary body.
Yet, I am actually aware that no matter how much it hurts to walk, still I do. No matter how far I walk, I do not hunger. The only thing I desire is water to clear the drought of my throat. It hurts to breathe at times and I can only lap at my salty sweat for brief relief.
The sun does not go down. Perhaps that is a blessing and a curse for me. I be unsure if I can handle the freezing cold if the moon and night fall over me now. Perhaps the heat would not be the cause of my death, but the cold if the sun does not stay up there.
As I walk, a thought did occur çeşme escort to me to try to use magic. I did have the memories of Liara within me. Surely, there had to be some type of mystifying spell that could get me out of this predicament.
I did not count the time that passed me by as I fired off mystical words and phrases one after the other from the well of knowledge that Liara had implanted within me. Elemental spells, physical spells, mental enchantments, conjurings, archaic texts, I spared no expense. My throat became drier and drier with each word that passed from my lips and the mental toll upon my mind increased.
Should I have been surprised that none of these worked? There be an argument that I shouldn’t have, but I was. At the very least, this told me that wherever I was, I be not on a simple plain. The reason for this is because even in the hottest, driest, most barren lands upon the earth, magic still works. There is always a trove of power to pull for one if they hold the mental fortitude to do so.
Perhaps my pronunciation of these words of the arcane was off due to the hoarseness of my throat, but I doubt this to be the case.
Once I took another step, my legs buckled. I dropped to my knees and hands. As soon as I had fallen, it seemed like all of my exhaustion had finally caught up with me. My coat laid over the top of my body still providing me with great shade from the sun even as I felt my sweat trail from my brow and down the sides of my cheek into the sand. It dried away so fast I wonder if it just fizzled into nothingness.
As I laid there, the sun on my back and the burning sand scorching my hands, I laughed. How very funny. First, I meet my death beneath the waves of water that I had commanded. Now, I might just meet my end beneath the waves of sand upon the dunes. My eyes feel rather tired. I try to keep them open, but there is no point.
Between the sand in my eyes and the salty sweat on my head, I see nothing but blurry images. I will the water to enter my mouth, but I don’t think I be drinking upon anything significant. Instead, my body slumps over into the hot sand. The wind continued to blow harshly.
“Claroviri sasucxivarium ohhhhh dominivasuvi taahabahaaa golurumvabirmi eqavaheeeeeeeee,”
In my state of fading consciousness, I heard songs that flowed with the wind. I cannot ascertain the origin. Hell, I wonder if I’m even really hearing this shit and not just me mind going delirious from the heat.
“Kaaaaaramahal ooooooooh Salvamfalshi Urigohwaer Vaaaaaaahanzinirrrrrr Taaaaaaamaaafaexiiiiii,”
The dark fades around me. As it closed the edges of my eyes, I can only briefly make ut a pair of bare feet standing in front of me. Unfortunately, I can’t make them out as my journey took its toll on me.
I closed my eyes.
At some point during the time that I closed my eyes, the sound of moving sand, wind, and songs turned into a melody of light snoring.
I opened my eyes slowly and I stiffened. I was in my bed with Ellen in my arms still resting. The gentle creaks of my ship upon the shores of C’ula sung in my ears. There was no sand or sun to be seen outside for miles. Well, I say that but the sun was close to rising over the horizon. Even now, should I concentrate, I can hear the faint sounds of some men getting ready for the day.
Though it pains me to, I remove my arms from around Ellen for only a moment. I reach over the side of my bed and pick up a pitcher of water. The sands of sleep, seas it disturbed me to even say that, still on my eyes, I could not see too well, but I could hear the slow churn of life-granting liquids within the container.
My mouth desired it so desperately that I was tempted to splash it on myself just to prove that it was real. Now, instead of doing that, I held out my hand over it. I then drew my hand upwards. The waves in the pitcher moved to my command and sprouted out like a snake does for a snake charmer.
I performed some brief exercises of my powers by pushing the water up and down several times. Without a shadow of a doubt, my control over the sea still laid with me. I then pushed the water down into the pitcher and grabbed it by the handle. Soothing liquid fell down my parched throat like I had not known its taste for years.
As I drank, my mind thought back to that arid climate of sun, wind, and hot sand. I figured it to be a dream, but I know what me own dreams be like. Never have I had one which filled me with such immersion. If I be honest, I dreaded the feeling. To be cut off from my power, and my kingdom, once again while I could do naught but wait for death was not a pleasant feeling.
For the next few moments, I thought about my dream and what it might have meant. Unfortunately, I be no weaver of dreams so the amount of shit I came up with amounted to as much as a whale’s ass.
Instead of giving myself a headache so early into the morning, I decided to settle for a more preferred option and resume my position of having my blond slut in my arms. başakşehir escort She stirred and grumbled, but I held her close regardless. Her hands sleepily grazed my arms.
My chin on her neck, it didn’t take me long before I fell back asleep. No bullshit dreams disturbed me this time. That would come later in the day.
How did I know? Well, answer me this, what happens when important men and women within a nation known as The City of Merchants don’t get their money?
BANG! BANG! BANG!
I opened my eyes to the not so gentle banging on my door. Ellen groaned at my side as she pulled the covers closer to her body.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
I watched Ellen open her eyes slowly. “You best answer that, Sir. I’m about to answer it myself,” Sothshore said. I doubt it takes a magic scholar to know what she meant. I didn’t need gunfire so early either.
“I love it when you’re trigger happy,” I told her while I kissed her cheek.
“Then you’re about to love me a lot. Can’t lie that the Burnwood bitch did a hot number on me. I’d rather not get up yet,” she replied.
“What if I desire to see your sexy ass get up?” I questioned.
Ellen muttered a curse. “Please, do not make me get up, Sir!” she answered.
I laughed.
“Very well. I suppose neither of us desires to move just yet. Enter!” I called out.
…Do ye remember that headache that I had been trying to avoid? Well, I think I received the last of its embers.
I say this because the door opened and two C’ula soldiers had their rifles pointed at Ellen and myself. Needless to say but the sharp click of guns stirred Ellen as she turned to see what I was seeing.
“I be wondering if joining you was a mistake,” she said. At this point, I wasn’t sure I could fault her statement.
Anyway, the two soldiers said not a word before the person I could only guess to be the captain came in. He stepped inside and looked around my quarters like a hawk trying to find a mouse.
“I’ll make this brief. Boreli Astell, we’re looking for him and some people connected to his escape. We were informed that he fled in this direction. Do you know anything about this, yes or no?” he asked.
Ah, so that’s what this was about.
“And if I said yes?” I asked. My answer came in the form of the riflemen placing their fingers on their triggers.
“Then you and your escapee will be detained. For the record, I do ask that you try and resist if you are found in possession of him. I enjoy tearing down pirate ships,” he answered.
“The only thing that’s gonna get torn down is your fuckin’ ass if ya don’t get those damn guns out of my face!” Ellen fired as she laid her head against my chest.
“No can do, ma’am. I don’t know how officials operate where you two live, but here in C’ula order is maintained. You can probably get away with shit in other places, but not here,” he answered.
I don’t think the captain enjoyed the smirk I gave him in response. “Oh, I be sure I could get away with some shit,” I answered him.
The captain frowned. “And I’ve sent many men to the gallows who thought they could get away with it. You’ll just be another in the long list. So how about you stop wasting my time lest I arrest you and this ship just because I feel like it,” he growled out.
I slowly leaned up and pressed my back against the wall. “And does this C’ula captain that doth invade my ship have a name?” I asked.
“Jaxshir Zagaul, 1st-Rank Flamebearer of the C’ula Military and Seekerbound-Captain of the C’ula Armed Forces,” he replied.
Allow me to pretend that I know what that meant.
Anyway, I cleared my throat. “Aye, well then Jaxshir Zagaul, 1st-Rank Flamebearer of the C’ula Military and Seekerbound-Captain of the C’ula Armed Forces, I don’t have your culprit nor his accomplices. What I do have is one of the sexiest lasses of the sea in my bed,” I said. I think the left rifleman stared at Ellen a bit longer than what would be deemed appropriate.
“Hmph, then you won’t mind us taking a look over your ship to verify your statement,” he said. He then walked away and out of my quarters.
“I hope your shit brain pictures this well because the next one’s gonna be a bullet threw your eyes,” Ellen threatened to the left rifleman. His eyes turned away from her as a result. I chuckled.
Inwardly, I was prepared to have to fight this out. It would be a bit unfortunate that I would have to kill them all if they discovered Boreli on my ship. After all, it wasn’t like the brig was hard to find.
There was still a bit of water in the pitcher from last night. I could deal with these C’ula bootleggers if I really wanted to. Fortunately for these soldiers, that needn’t be the case.
The C’ula skunk captain returned without prisoner and joyous mood. He barked orders to his men and told them to withdraw from the ship. Apparently, by his own words, the only things of concern on my ship were the treasures I had gotten and the countless food storages for my crew. There was küçükçekmece escort no sign of Boreli at all on my ship.
Naturally, I hid my unease beneath an expression of indifference. Questions rushed through my mind of how Astell had escaped my grasp. As soon as I could, I would have to check the situation for myself. I did not journey so far to let Astell slip through my grasp.
Zagaul ushered his men out of my quarters. I knew that I best be the responsible captain and get dressed to ascertain the situation before me, but I could not help the desire to still have my morning cock shoved down the throat of a willing slut. Seeing as how there was only one slut in my room, I best think we all know who that ought to fall to.
Unfortunately, the fact of having guns pointed in my face did wonders for curbing my lust as to what I would do to Sothshore. That was enough to piss me off.
So, we both slipped out of bed and got dressed.
I pushed open my door and stepped out onto the deck of the ship. I saw the captain and the two riflemen standing in front of my crew along with an entire patrol of C’ula soldiers. About ten of those soldiers held rifles at my mother, Lady Knight, the elves, and the rest of the crew. Six young mages cornered Liara, Diane, and Goron.
“Withdraw. He is not here. We will continue our search elsewhere,” he said.
“Yes Captain!” the soldiers said before they pulled away from my crew. The clattering of boots to wood raised across my ship in earnest as the men and women in C’ula’s military walked off my ship.
The captain was the last to go, but he turned around to give me a glare. “I suggest you watch yourself, pirate. No one would cry if I sank your ship into the seas below,” he threatened.
I took the threat for what it be worth, however before he fully stepped off my ship, I stopped him with a question.
“Tell me, Jaxshir Zagaul, 1st-Rank Flamebearer of the C’ula Military and Seekerbound-Captain of the C’ula Armed Forces, do you…love this city?” I asked. He looked back at me with enough fire to burn a ship beneath the tides.
“I love this city deeply. So much do I love it that I am forced to not spit upon the ground each time I see you pirates, slave dealers, and mercenaries trudge your blood-stained feet through this proud city. Now if you don’t mind, unlike you lot, I have a city to protect,” he answered. He then marched off down the docks to the next ship that had been roped there.
“Captain, why do ya not fight back?! Blast his fuckin’ brains over this entire shoreline!” someone roared. That statement seemed to lessen the tension as more and more of my crew hollered for me to take action. Some wished me to sink C’ula to the bottom of the seabed while others thought it wise to plunder the City of Merchants for all it was worth until no stone laid upon another.
“You think a sea serpent spends its days catching flies? We got better shit to do. Now then, I need to find out why there be minus one prisoner in the brig!” I exclaimed.
“Ease your worries, Eric Drakclaw. Your prison still holds all that it had before,”
The soothing sounds of Liara’s voice made me turn to her. I be rather beguiled by the mischievous glint within her ageless eyes.
I fully faced her.
“Oh, and why does that be?” I asked.
“See for yourself,” she replied.
I did just that. I took Ellen, my mother, the elves, and Liara with me. We all walked down the long stairs until we reached the brig. I peered inside and, just as the Witch had claimed, there in the brig laid the Xhaluter, chained from head to toe, and Astell, awake and frantic.
“Perhaps you best charge me interest on this voyage. To think you would make him disappear with an invisibility spell,” I praised. Liara chuckled.
“Quite simple parlor tricks that any child can pull off. Your guests were not exactly subtle. I hid them both before they even came on the ship,” she replied.
“How did you know they would be here for Boreli?” I asked.
“Would I be the Witch of Draegnar if I could not foresee such mundane events such as this?” she asked.
I chuckled to myself. Well, I suppose she would not be the witch if even she couldn’t see such a thing coming. “I see. Well, remind me to reward you for your efforts later,” I said as I opened the prison doors.
I then stepped inside and pulled up a chair in front of Boreli. His face was still swollen from the punch I had delivered to him earlier. I’m sure his face meeting the gambling table at the hands of my mother didn’t help either.
He stared at me as if I be a wandering spirit of death ready to claim his soul.
“What kind of magic trick be that?! Those C’ula soldiers came in here, they looked right at me like I wasn’t even there. I waved and hollered, but it was like I didn’t even exist,” he stated.
I pulled up a chair and sat in it. “Aye, the mystical arts can be mighty convenient when used,” I replied.
“Heh, aye. I could have used those spells a handful of times before now,” Boreli commented with a rather pained laugh.
I watched him try to ease his pain by rubbing his swollen cheek. The chains rattled like some eerie ghost bonds as he did so. Nevertheless, I continued to watch him. I don’t know what expression I must have had on my face, but I be reminded of all the terrible shit I said I would do when I found these backstabbing former crewmates of mine.
